What is the difference between ADT & alarm?

Both companies provide home automation and 24/7 monitoring. Both systems offer cellular connectivity to allow for maximum control of the system through a mobile app or internet connection. The main difference between ADT and Alarm.com is that one is a white label, home security monitoring service.

How many monitored Home Alarm packages does ADT offer?

ADT currently offers two monitored home alarm packages: the Keyholder response and Police response packages. Both are wireless alarm systems requiring professional installation by a qualified ADT engineer.

Is alarm com a real company?

Alarm.com is in the home security business, but they don’t manufacture or sell home security systems or monitoring services to individuals. Rather they offer technology that helps integrate and monitor systems manufactured and sold by other companies, including GE, Honeywell, DSC, 2gig and, yes, even ADT in some cases.
